FAQ

Adding supplemental lighting beneath the plant canopy can improve light distribution and promote flower bud development on lower branches, leading to an overall increase in yield.
Here’s what one of my clients shared based on their experience and data using under-canopy grow lights with different wattages:

  • Without any under-canopy lighting, flower yield was 1.5 kg per tray.

  • With 140W under-canopy grow lights (2 lights, 70W each), the yield increased from 1.5 kg to 1.7 kg per tray, a 13% improvement.

  • With 400W under-canopy grow lights (4 lights, 100W each), the yield jumped from 1.5 kg to 2.3 kg per tray, a 53% increase!

When using grow lights in greenhouses or high-humidity areas, it’s important to choose fixtures with a waterproof and dustproof rating, such as IP65 or higher.

Our under-canopy lighting products are waterproof and designed for safe use in these conditions. In addition, they feature excellent heat dissipation to prevent overheating.

Yes, our GB31 under-canopy grow lights support dimming. Dimmable lights offer greater flexibility and control over your growing environment.

For taller plants or those with dense foliage, adding under-canopy lighting can improve light penetration to the lower leaves, supporting healthier and more vigorous overall growth.
